Backsteinboot

Role: project management, promotional marketing, event production

I joined the Backsteinboot event space team at a critical point in their development. They had recently relocated to an island outside Berlin and decided to shift their focus. Moving away from their reputation as a party venue, their objective was to transform it into a refined concert and gallery space that operates during conventional hours.

In our collaborative efforts, we redesigned the venue to appeal to a more mature audience with interests in arts and culture. To establish the new space, we emphasized community building and encouraged word-of-mouth promotion, supporting the concept of a thoughtful and culturally enriching experience. This shift led to more than 150 people attending each of our three exhibitions and concerts, effectively creating a cultural link between Berlin and the island. This transition marked the emergence of a new hub within the city's creative venues.
